Desun Hospital Brings Health and Hope to Calcutta Blind School, Behala


Kolkata, 1 August , 2024 - In a touching and inspiring initiative, Desun Hospital brought smiles and essential healthcare to the students and teachers of Calcutta Blind School in Behala. This heartfelt event was part of the Desun Institute of Women and Children’s ongoing movement to provide exceptional care to children, emphasizing the hospital's dedication to community service for children and their educators.


The health check-up camp, held on 31st July 2024, saw an enthusiastic participation of 150 individuals, including 120 children aged 10 to 18 and 30 dedicated teachers. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of hope and care, as the hospital staff meticulously conducted a range of health assessments. These included BMI assessments, blood pressure checks, dental examinations, diabetes screenings for teachers, and ECGs for both teachers and children in need. Each check-up was aimed at ensuring the overall well-being of the participants, offering them vital health insights and preventive care.
Shaoli Dutta, Director of Desun Hospitals Group, was present to personally oversee the camp, reinforcing the hospital's unwavering commitment to community health and wellness.
