All Bengal Women T20 Cricket League Wraps Up, Celebrating Women's Success and Empowerment




_LRS Bangla Sports Academy, along with Rashmi Group of Industries, creates history with the initiation of this first-of-its-kind cricket league for the state_

Kolkata, April 20, 2024: The All Bengal Women T20 Cricket League, a celebration of women's success and empowerment, concluded its thrilling season on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Organised with finesse by the joint initiative of LRS Bangla Sports Academy and Rashmi Group of Industries, the league showcased the remarkable talent and spirit of female cricketers in the region. Shobhan Bhattacharya, Secretary to Chairman & Director of Rashmi Group, graced the event as a representative of the organisation. In a glittering ceremony following the final match, he, along with other dignitaries, presented the well-deserved prizes to the teams and players who had demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication throughout the tournament. 

The league, held at the LRS Bangla Sports Academy grounds in Howrah, brought together 12 teams, each representing the aspirations and dedication of countless women athletes. The finals, held amidst a fervent atmosphere, witnessed a closely contested match between Pal & Chatterjee and LRS Bangla Sports Academy, captivating the audience with moments of brilliance and sportsmanship. The All Bengal Women T20 Cricket League not only showcased the zeal of female cricketers but also underscored the importance of teamwork and collaboration. As players from diverse backgrounds came together to pursue a common goal, they exemplified the values of effective communication, mutual support, and appreciation for individual strengths - skills that resonate far beyond the cricket field and into everyday life. In a thrilling conclusion to the season, LRS Bangla Sports Academy emerged victorious, their triumph symbolising the collective efforts and dedication of every woman who participated in the league. Their success serves as a token to the potential and promise of women's cricket in Bengal and beyond. The efforts of LRS Bengali Sports Academy and Rashmi Group in increasing public interest in cricket and bringing women to more advanced positions truly deserve praise.
