Kolkata, 23rd February 2024: The Department of Orthopaedics at Medica Superspecialty Hospital, announced an upcoming workshop titled "Advanced Course on Hand Surgery." This comprehensive two-day event is being organized in collaboration with the Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand (ISSH) and the West Bengal Orthopaedic Association (WBOA) and will take place at Medica Superspecialty Hospital. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on workshops using saw bone models and porcine specimens, allowing for practical skill enhancement under guidance of experienced hand surgeons. Distinguished guest faculty members include Prof. Bhaskarananda Kumar, recognized as a "Pioneer in Hand Surgery" by the International Federation of Hand Surgeons, along with Prof. Anil Bhat (Head, Department of Hand Surgery & Associate Dean from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal), and Prof. Sanjay Giri (Department of Plastic Surgery - AIIMS – Bhubaneshwar). They will be joined by a team of expert local hand surgeons to provide comprehensive guidance throughout the workshop.
