Kolkata, 1 December 2023 : DBS Bank India has inaugurated its flagship branch at Kankaria Centre, 2/1, Russell Street, Kolkata. The newly relocated branch was inaugurated by R S Goenka, Co-Founder of Emami Group and Non-Executive Chairman of Emami Limited, alongside other marquee clients of the bank. It offers a comprehensive portfolio of financial products and services for large corporates, medium, and small enterprises, as well as retail and HNI customers.
DBS has been named the 'Safest Bank in Asia' by Global Finance for 15 consecutive years and brings strong global expertise matched with a deep understanding of India. DBS Bank India has a vast network, with approximately 530 branches spread across 19 states and 350 locations in India. This includes 16 branches operating in Eastern India, with 5 branches in Kolkata. The bank has established a unique 'phy-gital' (physical plus digital) model in the country.
